Please continue to talk my name with family and friends, for ever and a day.
I know we often think about the ones we've lost but tend not to talk their name to the ones that matter most. I'm sure they would hope you hadn't forgotten their husband or wife, their father or mother or friend. Even if it does bring a tear, a laugh or a smile., they know we still remember them.
Today I want you to sing and dance, to enjoy the day and have a blast. Think of all the great things we have done in the past, whether in jest or just for a laugh.
So don't forget to eat and drink, it's all on me so have a feast. And tell your stories to my family and friends, as they will be looking for a memory from a good friend.
When you get home tonight, look up into the night and pick out a bright star, because that will be me looking down over you from afar.
Don't forget there's nothing I will miss, so be careful for what you say or wish. If you need a sympathetic ear or shed a tear, pull out a wine or just a beer, and just look up as I will be near to comfort you my dear.
I love you all and will miss you as much as you will miss me.
Signing Off for the last time. Brian XXXXX
