Mission Statement
My employer’s safety is my number one priority.
Ensure expedient and safe transportation.
Communicate with the relevant bodies regarding appointments and ensuring safe arrival/departure at venues.
Core Strengths
My ability to identify possible threats and take the necessary action to keep my employer safe.
I have a range of defensive driving skills as result of Victoria Police driving courses and refreshers. Driving is a quality I have developed over 38yrs as a police officer in completing different driving courses and driving all types of vehicles (high powered pursuit to coaches and trucks).
Confidentiality is a quality I have that has seen me serve five Chief Commissioner of Police over a period of 26yrs and been privy to many highly confidential conversations and material, including private matters. I also held a National Top Secret Clearance Level whilst employed with Victoria Police.
I have an excellent knowledge of roads and major venues throughout Melbourne and Victoria due to travelling the State many times over with Chief Commissioners.
Punctuality is another one of my core strengths, cannot be late if avoidable.
I have great respect for all individuals even if I may not agree with them.
I have numerous skills regarding Office Administration. In the past I have made appointments for my employer, communicated with individuals/organisations regarding attendances, delivered dispatches, vehicle maintenance, updating private contact details of key personnel, collecting spouses from home for any joint attendances.
I have a strong knowledge of the Road Laws gained from the Victoria Police Traffic Operations Group Traffic Education Course and the ongoing enforcement of traffic offences.
Communications is a strength I have due to the many and varied contacts I had on a daily basis in the preparation and security involving the Chief Commissioner of Police. I also have ongoing refresher courses in driving and conflict resolution.
Adaptability, I have enjoyed the various courses through Victoria Police, RACV Drive School and my own business Manual Driving Made Easy which has given me the knowledge for change towards a better outcome.
Team orientation, I enjoy working with people or teams to help consistently achieve a high result for the organisation.
Professional Development has been a core part of my career and I believe it is an important part of any industry or business.
I believe a good level of fitness is necessary to perform the duties of protecting my employer and continue to maintain that level by the use of a personal trainer on a weekly basis.
